Are Letting Agents Better Property Managers?

Every landlord has always had this one question in mind –“Who can be the best manager for my property?” The answer to this question is rather easy. It’s a letting agent who has the motive, experience and expertise to be a perfect property manager. Here’s why!

More often than not, it is the letting agents who are concerned about the upkeep of a property than the landlord himself. The reason is quite simple. Most agents work on the principle of “no let, no fee”, implying that if the agent is unable to find a befitting tenant for the property, owner of the same bears no responsibility to pay any fee to the agent. This imposes the agent with the additional duty of making the property look presentable, and in perfect shape so that a potential tenant easily agrees to close the deal. This way, not only does the owner get a good tenant, but also receives a good deal that proffers him great value for the money that he has invested on the property.

Only a proficient letting agent has the legal expertise to handle various public liability cases with the utmost efficiency, thus giving peace of mind to the property owners.
